How to Think and Feel like Jedi: Your Jedi Life Force
Lke in the Star Wars saga, Yoda points our that “a Jedi’s strength flows from the Force.” Our life force is our energy - it’s our strength. If you’d like to think and feel like a Jedi, your energy field needs to be flow from a force and that isJedi like - fluid and positive.
Our Energy Field
This is quite literally an invisible (Jedi) life force that moves through an invisible network of energy channels. Sound too much like science fiction? Well, it’s also talked about in eastern and western medicine. Whether we refer to them as meridians or active stimulation points, there is a energy force within you. Our energy field is the link between the mind, body, and spirit.
When our energy gets blocked, it affects how we feel and think. When the body's life-force energy becomes blocked, various emotional imbalances and physical symptoms also result. These energy blockages occur at the acupressure points. Through a variety of acupressure methods ranging from light touch, tapping, to simply holding the points, the body's life energy is able to flow and rebalance.
The bottom line is that we require a flow of good energy to be healthy and strong. And the physical is always connected to the emotional and vice versa. Ever wonder why when we feel sad, we then feel sluggish. Or if we’ve been working too much, we get easily agitated? Just as negative thoughts can block your energy flow, positive thoughts can increase your healing energy.
Energy Blockages Happen in Three Ways:
1) Emotional Stress
Emotional have a powerful effect on the body. For every emotional state, there is a physical response in the body. This is a result of the mind and body being inseparable. The mind strongly influences our body and our vital energy.
2) Physical Stress
Modern day life causes a lot of strain on our body. Most injuries don’t come from doing physical activity but our lack of doing physical activity. Sitting all day, whether it’s in our car or desk is an unnatural posture that puts strain on our back, neck, and slouching, closes our chest cavity and affects our breathing.
3) Toxins
The body absorbs toxins from chemicals in the air, water, and food. If we don’t have good circulation, we don’t remove the toxins from our body quickly. If too much accumulates over time, it causes imbalances and blockages. This keeps our body’s vital energy from flowing properly and results negative emotional and physical effects such as lack of energy, clear thinking, physical pains and sickness.
In today’s world, we are inevitably going to be exposed to stress and toxins, but don’t worry, there are plenty of things you can do about. Regular rituals to relieve stress and toxins, feeding your mind and body with good things and make you invincible, like a Jedi!
